TradeMind ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, including:

  • Personal Data: Your name, email address, and account credentials (managed securely via Apple Sign-In or Firebase Authentication).
  • Psychological & Behavioral Data: Information you input into the app, such as your core motivations, primary saboteurs, risk scores, daily emotional logs (e.g., FOMO, revenge trading), and the specific pledges you make regarding the trader you want to become.
  • Chat Transcripts: Conversations and interactions you have with our AI coaching assistant ("Dr. Noesis").

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the TradeMind experience. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Calculate your dynamic behavioral statistics, discipline streaks, and readiness scores.
  • Provide deeply personalized AI coaching by injecting your psychological profile into the AI's context.
  • Process your subscriptions and manage your paywall experience.

We do not and will never sell your personal or behavioral data to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party vendors that perform services for us or on our behalf. These include:

  • Google / Firebase: Used for secure user authentication, database hosting (Firestore), and cloud infrastructure.
  • Superwall & Apple App Store: Used to display paywalls, verify in-app purchases, and manage subscriptions. We do not collect or store your raw credit card details; these are handled entirely by Apple.
  • AI Providers: Your chat inputs and a subset of your psychological profile are sent to our third-party Large Language Model provider (Google AI/Gemini) strictly for the purpose of generating coaching responses. This data is transmitted securely via API and is not used to train their public models.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You can initiate a data deletion request directly within the App's settings menu or by contacting our support team.

6. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including Firestore Security Rules) to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
