1. Introduction

TradeMind ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide to us and that is created when you use the App, including:

• Personal Data: If you create an account, your name and email address (from Sign in with Apple or Google, handled by Firebase Authentication). An account is optional: without one, your data is linked to an anonymous ID created on your iPhone.
• Psychological & Behavioral Data: Information you input into the app, such as your core motivations, primary saboteurs, risk scores, daily emotional logs (e.g., FOMO, revenge trading), and the specific pledges you make regarding the trader you want to become.
• Chat Transcripts: Conversations and interactions you have with our AI coaching assistant ("Dr. Noesis").
• Journal Entries and Voice Notes: What you write in your journal and any voice notes you record. Voice recordings are stored in Firebase Storage.
• Community Content: Posts and comments you publish in the Tribe community. Other TradeMind users can see them.
• Reports and Blocks: Content you report in the Tribe (with the reason you give), users you block, and AI coach replies you report.
• Usage Data: How you use the App, such as your onboarding answers, lessons completed, screens and features used, paywall views and purchases. Before you create an account, this is linked to an anonymous ID.
• Diagnostics: Crash and performance data, which is not linked to your identity.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the TradeMind experience. Specifically, we use it to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Calculate your dynamic behavioral statistics, discipline streaks, and readiness scores.
• Provide deeply personalized AI coaching by injecting your psychological profile into the AI's context.
• Process your subscriptions and manage your paywall experience.
• Send the notifications you allow, such as daily reminders, tips and offers. You can turn them off at any time.
• Understand how the App is used so we can fix problems and improve it.
• Review reports and enforce the Tribe community guidelines.

We do not and will never sell your personal or behavioral data to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party vendors that perform services for us or on our behalf. These include:

• Google / Firebase: Used for secure user authentication, database hosting (Firestore), voice note storage, app analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase), and cloud infrastructure.
• Superwall & Apple App Store: Used to display paywalls, verify in-app purchases, and manage subscriptions. Superwall receives your app user ID and some of your onboarding quiz answers (such as your trading style, main saboteur and the loss range you chose) to decide which paywall wording to show. Google Analytics for Firebase receives the same quiz answers as analytics properties. We do not collect or store your raw credit card details; these are handled entirely by Apple.
• AI Provider (Google Gemini): Dr. Noesis, the AI coach, runs on Google's Gemini model through Firebase AI Logic. Only after you allow it in the App, your chat messages and parts of your trader profile (your motivation, pledge, main saboteur, trigger and risk score; not your name or email) are sent to Google to generate replies. We use the Gemini Developer API's no-cost tier. Under Google's terms for that tier, Google may use this content to provide, improve and develop its products and machine-learning technologies, and human reviewers may read it. Please don't include sensitive personal information in your messages. You can withdraw this permission at any time in the App under More → AI Coach; nothing more is sent after that.

These providers only receive the data they need for the purposes above, and are bound by their own terms and privacy policies to protect it at a level at least equal to this policy. We share nothing for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps and websites.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. In the App, go to More and tap Delete Account: this permanently deletes your account (or your anonymous data if you never created one), your records, your voice notes, your reports and your community posts. You can also ask our support team to do it for you.

You can withdraw a permission at any time: the AI coach under More → AI Coach, notifications in the iOS Settings app, and the camera and microphone in the iOS Settings app. The camera is only used as a live mirror during the Tilt Protocol; video is never recorded, saved or uploaded.

6. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including Firestore Security Rules) to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

7. Children

TradeMind is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
